Spoke help!

Anyone able to direct me towards somewhere I can buy 283mm 15g spokes? Only place I can find them is amazon but they're insane prices!

15g is an old style measurement which just means 1.8mm width.
Still, a local bike shop would be the best place for single spokes so you can just take the old one or wheel in so they can get the right thing for you.

My locals are all a bit...meh. They're either incompetent or rip off merchants

tried to pick up a couple of spokes from my local and they wanted over £5 a pop!
FIVE POUNDS EACH!
ebay.
Think I paid almost a quid each plus some P&P

Other than that, Chain Reaction do boxes of 18 for £10 or so.

Random update on this, back wheel has popped 2 more spokes. Had a bit of a google about and it seems like a fair few people have had this problem with the same bike/rims. Bike is a Whyte Kings Cross.

I needed to get some for my road bike - LBS could only order them in boxes of 50 so obviously they weren't keen to do so!!

Got mine from above site - usual German efficiency and delivered inside 3 days!

If it's popping spokes of it's own accord, you'll be wise to get the whole wheel re tensioned and possibly trued too..

Link is fantastic! Thanks Booyaka. Matty - thinking the same. Thing is that it's perfectly true but it must be over-tensioned.
