So Room 101 is on my TV, on mute as I'm binge-watching Youtube videos when I click on this one...

I get to 1:09 and start to recognise the background music (Room 101 theme). I look at the TV and the credits are rolling but it is still on mute. Immediately assuming something's up with my amp (both the TV and PC use the same sound system), I pause the Youtube clip and it all goes silent.

They've used the Room 101 theme as background music to an Indiana Jones clip, and it plays at the exact same time the music would have been playing on the TV.

What spooky coincidences have happened to you?

Well it was one down the right-hand side of another video like it before. Not a fan of Room 101 on Facebook and haven't watched any Room 101 content on Youtube either so can't see an AI-based link.

They're spying on you then :D.

I don't think I've ever had anything like that, closest would be forgetting to log out of Discord (voip) whilst watching a horror. A silent suspense scene comes up and suddenly I hear a deep voice go "Hello". Scared the **** out of me.

Very similar. Not so long ago I was listening to a song by Monaco (What Do You Want From Me) while driving. I stopped the CD and switched to radio and the same song was playing and pretty much at the same spot! It was released in 1997. Not exactly on the A list!

Spooky! :)

I am failing to see what is 'spooky' about this incident, I agree it is slightly disturbing people watch such drivel but hardly spooky. Unless the OP is going to die suddenly in mysterious circumstances while this theme tune is on or something, then that would be kind of spooky, but who would tell us so we could all go 'Oooooh that's a bit spooky!'? And just in case it is some weird premonition of your impending doom I would avoid all addresses/rooms 101 for the rest of my natural days and a certain Disney franchise. Or maybe you'll live until 101?

The mental image that just popped into my head is David Mitchell.

And I don't mean Peep Show Mitchell, or even Mitchell and Webb Mitchell. I mean panel show Mitchell.

Had one of these at work the other day.

Was struggling to read the hand writing on a letter I had received and my colleague reminded me of a guy that wrote to us a few times a couple of months ago. He would type his letter and put his address in the centre at the top of the page in a weird gothic text that was difficult to understand.

I opened the second letter I had received as we were chatting about him and as I lifted the lip on the back of the envelope, the same gothic address emerged!

Heard a particular song on the radio, tuned in to another station and the same song was playing at the exact same point. Tuned in to a different station and the same again!

I took the mick but have actually had a few weird ones. Very strange one recently, had a dream about a guy I used to hang around with at school, literally haven't seen him in 15 years, hadn't even thought about him, had completely lost contact. Then bumped in to him the next day.

After I picked my kids up from school last Friday they asked me out of the blue when we were going to visit my Nan down south again. Hadn't spoken about her for a couple of months. Get home and my mum calls me to let me know my Nan had passed away that morning. My youngest told me she asked because she had a dream about my Nan the previous night. Weirded me out a bit.

*bro hug* for your loss.
