SPORE question

I bought SPORE when it was released, played it a couple of times but didnt really get into it.

Just wondering can i gift this game to my nephew as a present ?

Will it work for him or will the DRM prevent him from using it ?

Seems such a waste otherwise.

It has five installs so he will be able to use it providing you haven't installed it 5 times or more
