Hi guys.

I'm looking to catch the Arsenal match in a pub when I'm over in Nottingham on Wednesday and I was wondering if someone could recommend a good place to catch the game and will be showing Arsenal rather than Liverpool?

I'm staying pretty centrally just off Derby Road and have virtually no knowledge of Nottingham :)

Thanks for any advice!

Peter

The Ropewalk had a £750,000 or so refit in the summer, they've tried to expand their client base away from student with price increases. Not sure if they show footie anymore.

However I remember there's a footy pub just outside the Forest ground that is usually full of footy fans, its a good 30 mins walk from Derby road though.

Thats the Southbank bar and like you say it miles from Derby Road. Id try the ropewalk or make your way into town, there are plenty of pubs on the way and someone will have it on.

A good trek from Dery Road. The safest bet would be walkabout, they will have both games on however only one will have audio.

Walkabout is up friar lane which is off the market square.

The Ropewalk definately doesn't show sport anymore. Is proper posh now...

Walkabout would be best bet. Go straight on at the roundabout at the town end of derby rd, take the first or second road on left. Is on the right hand side of this road, you cant miss it.
