spot the mistake

LOL

Trapattoni said it was difficult to understand how Ireland's defensive solidity in qualifying had unraveled so spectacularly in Poland. Ireland conceded only three goals in 14 matches running up to tournament and now has allowed seven in two games at Euro 2012.

Lets see...

Andorra, Armenia, Estonia, Macedonia, Slovakia and an underperforming Russia versus......

Croatia, Italy, Spain.

Hmmm, tough one... :D

Yup, then again we have a thread of people proclaiming Spain back to their best because they looked average against a surprisingly good Italy, and brilliant against a woeful Ireland. So many people, managers included, can't seem to distinguish between ability to play and win/be good defensively or offensively against different levels of opposition.
