According to macworld, spotify has been approved for the app store (premium users only, app free), will be in the app store soon.

About time!

I subscribed to Spotify Premium as soon as I heard the app. had been approved. I like the subscription model and the playlist caching on the iPhone adds enough value to make it worthwhile imo. If Spotify continues to be successful I hope the model can be applied to other streaming media this side of the pond.

I really, really want Netflix.
