Spotify useage ?

Does anyone here use Spotify and if so, can you answer some questions for me?

At home, I have added all my music as local files which is great, now what I want to be able to do is access all this music from my other PC... I understand I have to create Playlists to do this? In which case I have done. How does this work? Have they been uploaded to Spotify server or something as I can access some of the files from my laptop downstairs but some I cant, as it says I added them as a local file, which is true, but for some reason I can listen to some and not others..

And how does it work on a mobile, do I need a much bigger memory card? or is the music "streamed" ?

Hmmmmmmm, ok, sounds like this isnt gonna do what I want it to do then

I thought I could just put them all into Spotify once and then access them all wherever and whenever I like.

I dont really wanna have to copy over the entire contents locally just to listen to them, I might as well just put them on a USB stick and use WMP
