"Only" 17K minutes listened this year - been spending a bit more time messing about with stuff like Suno or local files over listening on Spotify lately.

Can't be bothered with sharing the summary as for some reason they've decided to make it difficult to do from the desktop...

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, now it all makes sense. I was in the car earlier with my daughter and she said something I couldn't quite hear...

Her: Dad I've got my Spotify wrapped
Me: Rapped? As in rappers?
Her: No, wrapped.
Me: Rapt?
Her: No, dad. Wrapped!
Me: Ramped?
Her: Nevermind!

At least now I know what the hell she was talking about.

Sidenote: I will be quietly judging people's spotify lists. dlockers is a 9/10 because the Beatles were included (e: for clarity, it loses a point because the Beatles were included, the rest was great)

3 out of the 5 apparently top artists on mine I have no idea who they are and can't name any of their music... the other 2 I know of and listen to a bit but would not have put them as my top artists. Weird.

EDIT: The image finally loaded into the email I shared to myself:

Also i'm old and don't seem to be able to find it on the web browser and i cba screenshotting my phone and faffing about.

What i will say is it's been more unusual than previous years where it's surprised me a little on the top artists.

word of the year, announced today, appears to be brainrot the yoots just rediscovered it and maybe associated with excess social media and music use
