Guys,

A mate of mine has recommended 'Spotmau' - a kind of all-in-one bootable utilities disk for windows which I'm sure some of you will be familiar with?

I saw it running and although it looked polished and quite pleasing to the eye but I couldn't really see anything that warranted its £40 price tag? I use ubcd4windows and slax, both free, for my recovery situations and they do just the same thing

Am I missing anything? My mate swears by it!

Never heard of it. Sounds, and looks, like some kind of shonky rip off to fleece idiots of money.

Ha! Exactly what I thought... apart from looking nicer, it does more or less the same as most livecd's anyway

No need to rush off and buy it then?

i just use UBCD or Hirens, no point paying for anything when these seem to do everything for free
