Unusual thread I know.. but a lot of you seem quite knowledgeable in this kind of area.

Anyway, anyone got any suggestions for getting rid of spots on the chin? I don't get break outs anywhere else on my face except for my chin. I'd say my chin literally hasn't been spot free for about 5 years! Sometimes I look in the mirror befoe I go bed and I'll see that my chin is starting to clear up only to wake up the next day and find 2-3 new ones.

Really frustrating.

Generally I don't use any spot wash/cream, I just splash some warm water all over my face in the morning, followed by cold and then the same at night but I've been trying some spot stuff lately but neither seems to be doing anything at all, infact if anything they're making it worse..

Any recommendations on spot wash or something?

Mustard contains benzemine di-hydrochloride, which is a strong anti-inflammatory and mild acidic cleansing agent. It reduces redness around spots amazingly well. :)

On a more serious note. See your doctor, just tell him you want rid of the spots on your chin, he will then proceed to offer you options, first call will most probably be some sort of topical treatment.

Or if you don't want to go to the doctor then go the chemist and ask for some benzyl peroxide, gooogle it and have a read it seems quite effective on mild acne. Don't go for the strongest type first though otherwise it will just make your chin red, sore and scabby, and it does bleach fabrics, so be careful.

Depending on how much you drink at the moment, drinking plenty of water helps - always worth popping to the docs for some advice as it could be your testosterone level.

I've tried loads.........from Clearsil, Simple face wash to Bodyshop teetea oil facewash, but the best one i've come across that I like so far is Nivea Young facewash scrub thing. Its a clear bottle with light blue solution inside.

tried using a skin exvoliating scrub? i used that when i used to get spots on my shoulders. Has like small grains in it that feel like sand. Worked pritty well. Make sure you properly rub it in though :)

You should consider looking at your diet if you are using lots of "spot removal/skin cleansing" products as this can often be the cause.

I'd guess about 3 pints a day, more if I go to the gym.
You're not drinking enough water, you really need to drink at least twice that amount. I used to get spots all the time but I now drink ~4 litres of water a day and have a completely clean complexion.
