SPQR Mod for Rome Total War

I am a big fan of the Realism Mod for Total War.

However is anyone using the SPQR mod version 6.2?

Whats it like to play, is it better than the Realism mod.

Does it bring back the senate or something? :confused:

The only mod I have really liked is RTR as you know Spacks.

I havent tried it personally but I believe it focusses on the Roman campaign, emphasing the units and building tech tree.

Landed in my letter box today

As for SPQR it removes the lame piggies of death, onagers and the stupid units. Realisms the vanilla game with some new units and a new bigger map and resolves the incredibly insane later units and allows SPQR faction to make certain units only. It looks like another top mod, seems SPQR and RTR, are two of the best out.

oooh will you have time to install it and try it? I'm getting mine today but I'm flat out and away at the weekend so wont get a chance.
