Hey guys

I've recently put together a pc for my girlfriend using my secondary machine, and we got a cheap second hand tft.

The only problem is that it is old-school beige, and my gf would like it to be silver to match the case and keyboard/mouse combo.

Google has turned up no tutorials for tfts, so I was hoping someone could advise on how best to go about it.

Are the specific spray paints that are need, like non-corrosive ones?

What's the best way to keep the screen, leds, and buttons safe from the paint?

Any other tips or advice anyone can give?

Thanks :D

Ive never done it myelf, but personally id look at trying to remove the plastic bezel, otherwise spray might end up going into the TFT istelf, which im sure isn't good. That way you could spray to your hearts content without worrying about getting the screen covered etc.

Took my old samsung apart and sprayed it pink for my niece. I used a good plastic primer and 4 light coats of plasticoat. She loves it. I got loads of grief from my wife as she wants one now!! I've taken a few panels to pieces over time and never had a problem.
:D
