Basicly its where u gamble and put money on say Oil or Coffee, or wine even and see if the rates go up or down, resulting in you profiting or loosing...

Pondering if I should sign up, I heard about it from a m8 at work whos been doing it for over a year now and yeah he says its risky betting, but as long as you do the research/monitoring of what you place your money on you can come off well. Hes telling me if it wasnt for this he wouldnt be able to pay off the morgage and doesnt need a full time job even

Another guy at works signed up put 150 to start off with and lost 50 quid but just made 80 quid also...

Anyone into this sort of thing ? just wanted your humble opinions if its worth trying....

Betting where you have the potential to lose many many times your initial stake does not appeal to me. I've done a bit of reading but not enough to warrant a flutter.

You can make a small fortune from spread betting.

Start with a large fortune and it'll soon become a small fortune.

Same here - I see betting as a bit of fun, personally and I'll have the odd bet when it takes my fancy on certain events but I wouldn't like the prospect of losing more money than my stake!
