SPSS alternative

Hi,
i need a statistics analysing software like SPSS, where you can do t-test etc.
Are there any alternatives to SPSS which offer downloadable demo's?

SPSS is available for the Mac but its doesn't work very well under Rosetta. Have you thought of using R? It's command-line driven but it has excellent stats functionality. You could also try Matlab.

stata should be available. it's the best by far...but i have never tried it on a mac. the website says it's available for mac os x.
