Spybot Search & destroy 1.6

Just a quick heads up, 1.6 is out.
Should be able to get through "search for updates" within the program

i don't think spybot updates versions like this (through the auto-udpater) i think that's just for defenitions

I just received it through search for updates, it downloads the main app then you have to install.

they've changed the update procedure from before then, good to see

How does this compare to A Squared Free Edition?.

Not used Spybot S&D for ages, so was just wondering.

Spybot seems to be the best freebie for me. Head and shoulders above Adaware and has a really good support forum.

Just updated this and I'm getting a "list index out of bounds" error everytime I click on immunize.

EDIT: doesn't matter now I've reinstalled spybot seems fine now.

Hasn't 1.6 been out for a few days now? Can't really see any difference apart from improved scanning speeds.

I was thinking this had to be a really old thread but it doesn't appear to be.

1.6 has been out since the beginning of July.
