I've got a SpyderX Pro and just received an email offering 60% (£99 - £39) off for a software upgrade to a SpyderX Elite. Do they mean it's a firmware upgrade? Anyone done this and is it worth it?
Pretty sure it's just 'unlocking' some of the features of the software like matching multiple screen calibrations and a more advanced 'expert console' for more accurate calibration.
Your actual hardware won't change in any way.
Is it worth it.... imo no but it really depends on your work flow and requirements.
Thanks, it cost me £99 when I bought it earlier this year and the elite costs about £240 now so I would be making a saving on buying new. However, I've only used it twice so I'll probably not bother.
