Evening,

So I read this on Eurogamer this morning..

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-06-05-spyparty-enters-open-beta-finally

..and thought, ah, looks ok, a bit like The Ship.

Got home and was a bit bored so figured what the hell, I'll give it a go - just had a really fun hour or so of gaming. It's such a fresh concept and works really well and so far the people playing seem to really enjoy each other's victories and losses, very little bad feeling which makes quite a difference!

Anyone else playing? The video on the EG article will explain better than me trying to :)

It is quite fun - had a few games against some dude who was new too - it's pretty tense having the sniper beam fixed on you.... :)

Played a bit more of this tonight - it's a bit like poker.

2 players join a match. One player is a spy at a party. The other player is a sniper.

Playing as the spy, you have to trick the opponent by behaving like the computer NPCs, but performing certain actions that might give your game away.

Playing as the sniper, you have to watch the room carefully for suspicious behaviour. Once satisfied you have your mark, you take a shot.

It's good fun, worth a go for £10. The players on there all seem pretty friendly.

How long do you have to hold up when pretending to be an NPC? I can see how it'd be fun but I'm struggling to see the longevity atm.
