spyware/Adware /Malware info ?

Hi All i have been looking at so many different types of Spyware/Adware/Malware free programs ,that i,m beginning to think that its kind of a con ha! surely there basiclly all the same engine ? or am i missing the boat ha! is it just down to personel choice ? what are your views on this ?

They all do basically the same thing yes. Like Anti-Virus software they all do it how they think it should be done, and like any software some does its job very well, some not so well.

What works for you is entirely subjective. Besides, it is hardly a con given most are free...

You have already been told two good pieces of software in your myriad of threads this afternoon. Download, install them, then forget about it [except once a week when you do a scan of course ].

Some are more of a swizz than others, and they are not all made equally. Check the AV thread.
