Spyware Protect 2009

Firstly, I will be the first to lol at this post after making one a few days ago about online scanners, after my lack of installed anti virus. Teach me to try and stream south park from some dodgy website -_-

Anyhoo, I got the dreaded Spyware Protect 2009 thing, and installed Malwarebytes to delete it after reading that it should pick it up, and it found a bunch of stuff and deleted it and since I have run a avast scan too which didnt find anything.

Is there any way I can confirm for sure it is gone, or am I just being a nit?!?

And yes, I probably will be downloading some antivirus software

I guess to be fully sure, you could always format your comp

Should be deaded after that but you could try the eset online scanner anyways.

Think my dad picked up something like that before and it was painful to remove, can't remember how I got rid of the damn baloon notification even after everything else was gone.
