Spyware/Virus Infection Require Help

hey everyone.

iv been asked to remove some Spyware/Virus's from a friends laptop but so far iv been unable to totaly remove it.

the virus in question is trojan.adware.w32.expdwnldr

i have done scans with:
NOD32
Kaspersky (online scanner)
trend micro (online scanner)
AVG anti-spyware
spybot
adware 2007
super anti spyware

i have removed a number of objects but after a restart it all returns.

all the work i have done has been in safe mode



im currently stuck and dont know what to do next.

any help or advice would be apreciated(sp?)

As its adware does it show on startup in anyway. This removal toolis very good if its one that displays a flashing icon on the taskbar. PS it can be detected as a virus itself but its just one of the apps it uses.

that SDFix worked it removed most of the crap, i then ran spybot adware 2007 and a few other progs and they cleaned up the rest
