Just a quick one, if i'm using SQL Server 2000 i'm assuming I need to use SQL Reporting Services 2000 also?

This means i'll need to use Visual Studio 2003 to develop the reports?

Where exactly do I get the plugin/development add-ons for Visual Studio to create the Reporting Services Reports? Does it come with the SQL Server disc or?

actually, Cron wouldn't work for yourself.. I guess you're not using a linux box :)

Cron is basically.. a task scheduler. It launches scripts at certain times and stuff.

I presume the Reporting Services provides the same.

If you have SQL Server 2005 you can also use the reporting services that comes with that, and link to your SQL 2000 database.

When you install reporting services it also installs the files required for visual studio.
