Not that I've done much ASP.NET but I when doing an assignment for UNI a while ago was able to achieve something similar to http://www.beansoftware.com/TheBeatlesLyrics/Default.aspx?adv=4 and http://www.beansoftware.com/TheBeatlesLyrics/Default.aspx?adv=2 by using the built into controls.
