Has anyone used this company? I am half planning to get a boot / door install in my 200sx as the quality and workmanship looks top notch and their portfolio is more than impressive. I already own the equipment so would just be paying them to install it.

So has anyone had work done by them? Opinions? I would be using their Manchester base.

Thanks!

Sorry that this won't help you, but my opinion is that the kind of prices these people charge are outrageous. If you are a professional, or sponsored, or doing shows regularly then I could understand, but if you just want a nice sound in your car, do it yourself surely? It's not hard and there's loads of good advice on caraudiodirect for example.

I did my own install in my old car and it took 3 days in summer and a lot of frustration. Now it's winter I really don't fancy taking the same amount of time again but in cold / rainy weather. Plus I was never really happy with the job I did on the doors, they sounded ok but I think they would have sounded better if the speakers had a more solid base to be bolted to.

The equipment I have is pretty high end so want to get as much from it as possible, plus the installs look cool as **** :D.

Can't speak for them but a local place in Clitheroe called Autoinstalls are very good. Carlos (the owner) has taken quite a few awards with his builds and I have had a poke around a few at an open day. His 206 is pretty nice, water cooled Genesis amps etc.

You're probably best asking on the Talk Audio forums, although an install can look great it might not sound great. I know Carlos at Autoinstalls knows his science as well as his craft which is the key skill you want.

Hmm - that link says they don't fit non-supplied stuff. Doh! Plans are scuppered :(

Do you fit other peoples equipment?
We are happy to do an install and build everything in but the products must be in good condition and there will be no warranty on the equipment. Also if the equipment does not work once fitted it is the customers responsibility. Any additional work to rectify any problems will be chargeable.
Shazam! Plan back on track :D
