Does anyone still make these, we want one to use for graphics (putting together adverts in-house for our national paper advertising) but really dont want a widescreen as it doesnt suit the work we do.

Are there any 20-22" square monitors worth having?

Dell still sell their 2007FP, which is a 20", 4:3 display with a resolution of 1600 x 1200. It's either a S-IPS or a S-PVA panel, so it should be better than a TN panel for graphical work. I am sure there are some more alternatives out there, but it's been a while since I bothered to look for them as they cost so much more than the equivalent widescreen.

Assuming you're on Windows, have you considered just throwing the taskbar onto the left hand edge? This brings you closer to the 4:3 aspect ratio for your application, and may be an alternative to faffing around looking for the few 4:3 monitors still on the market.
