Does anybody know a supplier of square reservoirs? Fractal Design use this style in their website promo images & they look cool:

Watercool Heatkiller
Thanks, that would be the manufacturer, guessing the one pictured would be their 150mm version. Its a shame they don't have pump/res combos... would the pump be hiding underneath the res in that Fractal case? That would mean couldn't use the bottom for fans or rad :/

It is a pump/res combo. That one linked has mounting for a DDC pump and they also do one for D5: ▷ Watercool Heatkiller 100mm Tube Reservoir for… | OcUK (overclockers.co.uk)

OCUK do not list the 150mm versions with DDC and D5 attachment points, but they do exist.

Need to add pump yourself however in most instances.

A pump/res combo means the pump is included, with the EK Kinetic series a D5 pump is built in.

The pump mounting is built in, you just need to buy the pump separate. Your earlier comment about it not being a pump res combo implied then the pump would be under the shroud impeding on the area where a radiator and fan would go. That’s not correct, just need to buy the pump and add it yourself.

only difference to EK series is you pay for and add pump separately. If your doing a custom loop at that point, hardly a big deal / effort.

Following up - I bought a Heatkiller D5 200 but it doesn't come with any mounting system  Does anybody know what one is used in the picture above?

I’m not sure that is a Heatkiller. It’s similar, but the struts taper off at an angle on the one in the picture, but the Heatkiller ones are even and square across their whole length. And yes, the Heatkiller mounts are separate so you can buy the version you need.

Alphacool have also released a range that is suspiciously identical to the Watercool Heatkiller, the Alphacool Eisbecher Aurora. Glass tube too. Comes in a D5 version.

Bear in mind though, Fractal use a lot of renders in their promo work, especially for "complete builds" like the one you linked. I've noticed a lot that the watercooling kit they use in these renders is based on Watercool Heatkiller stuff, but it's often a simplified model.
