Squeaking mouse

heh my mouse keeps squeaking

Got a new Copperhead mouse. Works fine but sometimes when I move the pointer on the desktop I hear a high pitched squeaking kind of noise -almost inaudible. Took ages to figure out where it was coming from.
Could this be some kind of interference? Thought that was just something associated with wireless mice.

[edit] I should have mentioned the noise seems to come from the speakers not the mouse itself.

This happened to me once, it happened to be squealing capacitors on an old ati card i hard.. changed the graphics card and the problem went away

Hope to god it's not the GPU capacitors (buries head in sand & chooses to ignore what you just said).

I'll remove the pos creative 7.1 soundcard & see if that cures it.

What speakers are you using ?

I've never had a prob with wireless mice ?
