Squeaky Macbook Air case?

Hi guys,

does anyone have a Mac Air with squeaky case? next to the trackpad on the left side I sometimes rest my hand when typing but as soon as I left it the case squeaks like its not screwed properly tight. Looking at the screws they dont seem to be loose so maybe something inside.

anyone else had this? :confused:

Yep, although it seems to be a little better recently, not sure if it's got better or if I've just got used to it. It's the first creaky laptop I've had and it annoys me a bit.

Brand new 11" MBA here.... creaky when clicking trackpad/typing near bottom of keyboard.... trip to Apple Store methinks.

I know someone at Uni who has the same problem with his air. He uses it as a stress toy these days.

haha, had to reschedule my app until Friday! Reading on other forums people have taken theirs back to Apple who re-sit the board which seems to fix it or replace the laptop itself!

Went down today to get it sorted out and the nice chap had a look inside and basically had a look inside and resat it, no more noise
