The last couple of days I've noticed a squeaking coming from the wheels constantly, it sounds like its mainly coming from the drivers front but quite hard to tell, would you say its more likely to be my tracking or that I need new brake pads?

On a similar topic my pads squeek. I have taken them off and copper greased them up and it's still the same. Any other ides?

The pads have seen around 10k miles now.

Check your pads are ok, check your discs. Grease backs of pads. Grease sliding pins and check the caliper can slide ok.

If all the above don't prevent the sound, did you think about checking the boot? might be someone or something in there :D

Got this checked out today, turns out to be one of the brake pads, they have a small bit of metal that gently rubs on the wheel when they need replacing, certainly done the trick to make me get them checked out
