Squealing coming from PSU

I've just built my new pc, which includes a Seasonic M12D-850 PSU. However when I shut the PC down, once everything is powered off there is a high pitched squeal coming from the PSU which is quite annoying. The only way to stop it is to flip the switch on the back of the PSU to off, and the squeal gradually dies away after about 30 seconds.
I assume this isn't normal as I thought Seasonic were praised for their quietness, so is my PSU broken/failing?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Mikey

My Corsair 650w was doing this when it was on but was fine when it was off. I have an 8800GTX as well.

After using my new system for about 2 weeks now it seems to have stopped doing it.

try using one card and see if it still squeals but do not worry power supplies esp seasonics dont take anything with them :D i think dont take my word for it but if its from ocuk send a polite webnote asking and see what they say :D

Hmmm.. this sounds strang... maybe best solution is to contact [email protected] and then inform them of the issue and see if they can be of further assistance. Per my knowledge, Sea Sonic is very helpful in this regard......
