Squeeze live concert [1982]

Squeeze were the reason why cans stopped being sold at the Victoria Hall in Hanley.
They were 1st on in a 3 header bill and just had a minor hit with Take Me I'm Yours.
They were billed as a punk band but after about 3 numbers they were pelted with gob and coke cans.
I liked Squeeze a lot and the songwriting was very clever, in fact Difford & Tilbrook were called the new Lennon & McArtney by the music press at the time.

The lyrics on Cool for Cats are awesome.
