So I've had an H50 in my rig for about 5-6 months now and its been great!

Until recently when it started making odd squelching noises not just on startup but pretty much all the time. I thought "It sounds like there is air in there" so I turned the pump unit upside-down (heat exchange facing up) and it made a god awful sucking noise.
So I assume that a large amount of air has gotten into the system? I've looked for leaks and can't find any.

What should I do?? Can I RMA it or is it too late? Can a H50 be bled?

Also its been making an annoying buzzing noise this last month but I can only hear it with the fans turned right down.

There may be a very small gap somewhere in the system from the day it came off the production line, which has not given you any noticeable leaks, but the small gap has allowed water (over the 5-6 month period) to evaporate out. This may have caused bubbles/gaps to form in the loop, so now it's noisy.

The only reason I can think of for the noise after turning it upside down is that somehow the pump ran dry for a short amount of time (cos of a gap or something)

You stand a high chance of getting it replaced - it's faulty!

The only way you can bleed a H50 is by doing a resevoir mod, which is a wase of time tbh...

Well the H50 is off for RMA but what am I to do in the meantime? I've got an old fanless Zalman cooler sat on top of the CPU (computer is on its side as there is no way to attach it) and temps are about 45-50C idle :(
