Ok, Laptop needs new battery.
Its got an SR03XL
I just bought a replacement and plopped it in, and started it up, and everything seems to be hunky dory.
The thing is, that even though I have used it for about 20 minutes or so, I just clicked that the replacement is an SR04XL not an SR03XL.
So, I have had a check to see what the differences are, and the main onem is that the 03 is 11.55v / 52.5Wh and the 04 is 15.4v / 70Wh
Ok, so this is cleary putting out more power, but how bad is it for the Laptop?
The Laptop in Question is a HP Pavilion Gaming 17-cd0526na
I have also just put in a new 250GB M2 and a 2TB HD and a pair of 8GB RAM Sticks so that will taking some of the power perhaps?
It seemed to run just fine as I said, for about 20 minutes, but I am a tad paranoid... Typically, I got the thing from some famous site.
I dont want to give the thing to my mates lad, only for it to blow up in a few dayus trime y'know?
