I bought a new desktop - using the configurator, which was delivered about a month ago (redelivered, since the first time it arrived damaged).
It seemed fine, but I didn't really get a chance to use it, since I had to go away for 3 weeks (I only used it briefly a couple of times before). Now I've had a chance to use it a bit more this past week, and finally installed all of my programs, I notice that it makes a screeching noise, which is fairly loud and definitely quite off-putting. The noise comes and goes somewhat randomly, but usually when the computer has been on for a little bit (and I just tried playing a game and it made the noise a lot). The noise sounds kind of like a boiling kettle (the old style kettles). Any ideas what it could be? I'm thinking it might be a fan and worried it might be the CPU fan or something...
