Any M.2 SSD should be fine, especially if you are just using it as storage and not writing huge volumes of data to it often. Plenty of guides on You Tube showing disassembly and upgrade options.

Just don't pay more for PCIE 4.0 as that isn't support on that laptop.

I did read the "SE" edition is inferior to the regular version. Could be mistaken.

the "SE" is a refreshed SN750 with a different controller, basically a PCIE 4.0 drive with PCIE 3.0 speeds

750SE:

• Sequential Read (1TB): 3,600MB/s
• Sequential write (1TB): 2,830MB/s
• Random Read IOPS (1TB): 525K
• Random Write IOPS (1TB): 640K

OG 750:

• Sequential Read (1TB): 3,470MB/s
• Sequential write (1TB): 3,000MB/s
• Random Read IOPS (1TB): 515K
• Random Write IOPS (1TB): 560K

that is true. the OG has a dram cache, the SE doesn't
though unless one is hitting the ssd hard then i suspect it wouldn't matter so much
