Evening all,

I have had my aluminum 2.4Ghz, 2GB MacBook Pro now for a couple of months and am now thinking about a couple of upgrades.

Firstly, I would like to upgrade to 4Gb DDR3, is Crucial my best bet?

Secondly, what SSD (at least 120Gb) would be recommended for the MacBook Pro?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. I remember somebody on here did the same but search isn't working, but how are the cheaper OCZ SSD's that are stocked on OcUK. Been looking at this one in particular. Seems a reasonable price.

I think I will go with Crucial for the DDR3, going for about £95 for the kit.

I've got an OCZ Core v2 in my MacBook. Put a few posts about it on the blog, so if you want some vids etc have a look on there. There's also plenty about it in the HDD area of the forum. Long and short of it: I love it.

I think I recall you talking about your experiences with it on here, I knew I had your blog in my bookmarks for a specific reason!
