SSD and HDDs in RAID

Hi all

For my newly purchased server, I'd like to have a main SSD for my OS (Server 2012 R2), a 7200 rpm HDD for my applications, and 2 x 5400 rpm HDDs for media, but in RAID 1.

Can anyone advise whether this will work as planned? I've not dabbled with RAID before.

I'm using a Dell T20 server.

Sounds fine - assuming the hardware is up to it (don't know anything about the T20).

2 disks in JBOD (or single array RAID 0) and two in RAID 1.
