hi all

have read bits on ssd drives that some get bsod and that..
so which is the best 128gb/120 ssd to get which is trouble free not messing bout with firmware and that, gonna be building new rig soon so thought i would make the leep :D

Had no problems whatsoever with the M4. Updated the firmware from 0002 to 0009, but what was simple and painless.

i would go for an intel slc, had mlc drives die in under a week at work just don't trust em :(
Any drive can fail. Unless you've got experience of many mlc drives failing over a sample of 1000's or more drives, your argument holds little weight.

I'd definitely suggest the 128GB Crucial M4. Took delivery of mine this morning. It already had the latest firmware installed so no messing about with that (although its only a 5 minute job anyway). Blisteringly quick to load windows compared to my 80GB Intel X-25M G2, which is hardly a slouch!
