Hi

I'm building my new computer at Christmas time.
I haven't got a hard drive yet and wondering whether its a good idea to go ssd instead of hdd? i have a budget of about £100.
Hopefully want a 128gb ssd if its possible.
Any ideas?
I'll look to get a hdd later next year when the prices go down (if the prices go down).

Components that will be going with it are:
i5 2500k
gigabyte z68 motherboard
8gb corsair vengeance ram
bequiet 630w modular psu
cooler master 912 plus case
asus 560ti

Cheers,
Craig

sadly your not getting a 120GB SSD for £100. you might be able to get a very old gen SSD second hand at that kind of price, but you definitly wont get a good new one for under £1 per GB

OCZ Agility 3 120GB ??

I have one of these and it is great :)

Amazingly fast, I don't even see the blue welcome screen on Win 7

Some people say there is some issue with the sandforce controller, but a firmware update can sort that out. Luckily *touch wood* mine seems fine without that update (unless the manufacturer/retailer done the update for me ?? ) :D
