SSD in a netbook?

Anyone put an SSD into a netbook?

Thinking of doing so. Running Win8 at mo.

I put an SSD into an Acer Aspire One 522 for the brief time I had it. It made a huge difference; the system booted in less than 20 seconds, and it dramatically improved the multitasking capabilities. Of course, the SSD will probably be worth more than the netbook... but as Stormster says, it makes them snappy

I've put a SSD in my HP Mini 311c, as I've seen however with other SSD's in other netbooks - yes its much quicker than any HDD but the SSD definitely isn't running at its full potential due to the CPU/Chipset sadly.

If you can get a SSD cheap, then go for it.
