SSD losing space

Hello all

My SSD drive which I keep windows 7 and the odd program such as graphic drivers ect has slowly but surely over the last 12 months been consuming itself.

I have 136 GB free of 238 Gb. Originally this was 175 GB when the operating system and all the other bits and pieces were installed. No amount of cleaning using CCleaner resolves this issue. When i access the drive and select all the files and folders under C drive (hidden folders turned on) it shows 55GB is used.

I have removed previous restore points, removed temp files, no files are downloaded to this drive.

Any tips?

Have you used disk cleanup to remove Windows update files? Is hibernation disabled?

Have you run a program like windirstats?

It is APP Data. I managed to lose over 20gb if the stuff by just reinstalling Windows and I only used the drive for OS and driver and a few essential apps.

most likely going to be system restore, turn it off if you don't need it
