Hi guys, I have a Kingston V-Series SSDNow 128gb SNV425-S2BN and i've installed Steam and 2 games on it as well as Windows 7. I've got STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl on as well as COD4 but while playing i'm getting micro-stutter every now and again. It's not that bad but it gets irritating when i'm really getting into a game. I've tried both the Marvel SATA and the AMD one, both of them do the same thing. This is also a clean install of Windows 7 on a ASRock 890FX Deluxe3.

Any help to sort this out would be appreciated, thanks.

I've got an Crucial M4 64GB which I bought but it's just way too small hence I bought a bigger but slower drive as I was skint. Can't afford to start selling and re-buying a 128GB M4 now. :(

Is there any fixes or tweaks I can do to make it run smoother or anything? Or will I have to put up with this.

Sorry guys but it's fine now? The stuttering just seems to occur for the 1st 30 or so seconds while i'm in game and then it's completely gone. Weird thing is it only does it on COD4, STALKER has just very minor stutter like 2-3 times and that's it and World Of Warcraft has none what so ever, i'm confused.

have I configured something wrong here? I'm getting the advertised read/write speeds so I think I must have left a Windows feature on that shouldn't be on when using an SSD? I've not defragged it so i've no idea what's going on.

It seems to just do it now in the 1st 20-30 seconds or so of games. I've read that I can turn caching off to improve performance but I have no idea how.
