SSD not working HELP!

Hi guys ive received my ssd today.

Everything is fine started to install windows which finishes fine.

I then go to boot into windows the first time and all i get is a black screen with

"_" that flashing.

Its a Samsung 120 840.

My specs are in my sig.

Pulling my hair out ATM so any help would be great!

Clear CMOS, try a fresh install?

pop in the bios and set the ssd as first boot device,if that fails try updating to latest motherboard bios

Not sure if i should update bios as will it update to only support the new am3+ cpu's?

don't update it then,did you set the ssd as first boot device in bios?

you mean when it reboots to finish installing windows? if its not carrying on then you need to try again with a re install
