Right folks I'm planning a major upgrade in the next few days and I've got most of it sorted apart from one thing. I already have a GTX480 that runs at 800/1600/1950 but I was considering upgrading that to a 580. I then had a think about SSDs. What would you guys do? This one's really got me thinking.

Kind regards,
Ross

SSD.

Or a second GTX480 in SLI, you have the motherboard and psu to do it!!!

There is a ZOTAC GTX480 in the members market for £200, offer him £190?

definatley the SSD, its one single thing that seemed to speed up my PC over the rest.

i had both a crucial m225 128gb and now a realssd 128gb after the m225 failed and got replaced. both drives feel just as fast although the latter is faster on benches and on paper but day to day theres little in it.

Go with what you can afford, bearing mind i think the next gen ones are due pretty soon which should be faster nd cheaper
