So for the past 5 years my Crucial M4 has dangled in my 4 empty 5.25" bays by the wires. Not idea but it was a quick job.

Now I just picked up a Samsung 850 and having both of them just dangling seems wrong.

Any suggestions on how I could attach these somewhere that isnt as horrible I have currently?

My case is a Silverstone Fortress FT01 which was made before SSD's were even a thing so its not got any bays for them.

I only really have empty 5.25 bays and most adapters are 2.5 > 3.5.

tape em down hahaha they just hanging lol you should get a pci extension and have the gpu hanging by the cables at the top to match the vibe lol

Ok so the general thinking is its fine, I did notice the Samsung has a temperature sensor unlike my M4 and its sitting hotter than my GFX card and CPU.

Seems rather warm, is 32c ok for these sort of drives?

I'd get this :)
or one of the 4-6 2.5" caddies that are available like this.

Having said that velcro to the back of the motherboard is another option if you'd prefer to keep your 5.25's empty

edit: my evo 850 is running at 31C but my room is a bit warmer than usual
