I am trying to update my OCZ Vertex 3 to the latest firmware, and I also want to secure erase to get some of my performance back before reinstalling Windows.
I haven't got a second PC to use to do this, so I am trying to use the OCZ bootable tools. Without success.

I have posted it on the OCZ forum but had no reply as of yet. I have put this in general hardware because I am assuming its not the SSD causing the problem, more likely bios settings or me!
