I have a intel 80gb ssd at the moment but I plan to get two of them and raid 0 with windows 7 pro x64 on my i7 computer, would I notice the diffrence? or should i just get one 128gb one? they will be used in a SATA 6Gb/s port.

My 80gb gets filled quick so want a bit more space, why i want a new one or two in raid 0 giveing me the 120GB + and my 80gb will go in my lappy.

I would say you will certainly see a difference if you have them in RAID 0.

Just remember to keep a strict backup schedule!

Thanks J.B, and yeh I do backups everyday anyway.. Do you know if you raid the same as 2 hard drives?

I thought RAID 0 SSDs don't support TRIM? I could be wrong.

intel have new f6 drivers to enable trim on raided drives aslong as the drives support trim int he first place
also leaving 10gb un allocated is suppose to help
