SSD Slow IOPS

Hey i just bought a Samsung evo 850 500gb i did the test with Samsung magician for speed and IOPS speeds for random write and read is slow.

I have it on ACHI mode in bios and updated ACHI to latest drivers but still slow they read 45327 out of 98000 and write is 32341 up to 90000 i am using the Gigabyte 970A-UD3P motherboard and windows 10 i also tried performance mode.

I think the low IOPS is due to the 970 chipset.

so the only way to fix that would be a new motherboard :S?

Download Samsung magician softare, set overprovosing, enable rapid mode then check again.

cant enable rapid mode because it seems to not like windows 10 ?

You have put it into the correct sata port haven't you?

Yea onboard sata chip can be slower you want to be using the other ports you normally get 2x sta ports which are a different colour they are the onboard which is rubbish and meant for raid

ah all i know is i have 6 sata slots and i put it into the 0 one as it has a picture saying 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 i thought the mobo im using only has sata 3 slots my motherboard http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4717#ov
