ssd to sata

hi, thanks for the replys,

i think its something to do with the system reserved partition on the ssd drive
have tried cloning the ssd to another drive, it always fails saying boot manager missing

if i use a old image of the non ssd drive it works fine

confused

any more ideas on this?

to be clear, i have a crucial c300 and want to image that onto a old 3.5 sata
in acronis i can image across but it wont boot up
the ssd have 2 partitions on it as most inc system reserved, i think its somthing to do witht that
also i have tried w7's backup software but that only gives you the option to install back to the ssd

anymore ideas?
