I've just been reading up on the performance benefits of SSD drives and am thinking of getting one. I built by pc 2 years ago based on a Asus P5N32-E SLI which I believe is only sata 1 not 2 so my question is can this keep up with the SSD drives or am I looking at a system rebuild?

Even were it not, while sata1 can bottleneck an ssd it'll still be very much faster than a hard drive. Wouldn't mean a new motherboard was needed :)

To extend this question a little, is anyone here using this board with SSD's? is it worth me raiding 2 30g's rather than getting just 1 60? are there any headaches using them in a raid 0 config and how reliable would this be? I got burn't by a bad motherboard when I dabbled in raid a few years ago and lost a lot of data ( stripe lost ) and haven't touched it since.
