hi, im planning on building a linux based micro server with web hosting and possibly pop3/smtp support, so far the components im planning to use are:
supermicro x7spa-h-d525 (sgpio support & 6 sata) m/b
wd scorpio black 160gb wd1600bekt (os)
wd caviar black 2tb (wd2002faex) *4 (for data)
sony ad7695-h dvd-rw
120mm YATE loons *2 for some hdd cooling
as its going to be headless i would like to place LED's on the front of the case for easy activity/fault identification so my first question is does anyone know of a decent sata backplane that supports sgpio?also can anybody recommend a small psu that will have enough juice and connectors to power all of the above? i would like it to be fully modular as it will be easier for braiding and cable managment, btw the mobo takes a 24pin atx connector and i will be building the case to fit but would like it to be as small as possible.
if you need any more info just ask
TIA chilton.
